Ans- They arenot able to sell the goods.

6) They couldnot sell the goods.

Ans- They werenot able to sell the goods.

7) I cannot come.

Ans- I am not able to come.

8) Can they work hard?

Ans- Are they able to work hard?

9) Can’t she accept the idea?

Ans- Isn’t she able to accept the idea?

10) Couldn’t they catch the bus?

Ans- Weren’t they able to catch the bus?

Rules- 1) ‘Be able to’ is used in place of ‘can or could’. 2) Can = am, is, are + able to. 3) Could = was, were + able to. 4) Do not use ‘be” in the sentence.
